Dr. Bong Hyun is a section dedicated to a remarkable man whom I have dubbed the Korean Schindler for his heroic efforts during the Korean War. Dr. Hyun helped save the lives of 100,000 North Korean Christian refugees in the Winter of 1950. He was also one of the first Asian-Americans to blaze a new trail in the medical field.

Nuvein Foundation for Literature and the Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting culture, benefiting our local communities, promoting local artists, and giving rise to the creative class. Nuvein also gives scholarships to students who pursue an education in literature or the arts.
